Digital photography has made it inexpensive and easy for your photographer to correct lens flare, facial blemishes, reflections etc. It has also made making corrections to backgrounds fixable.

In addition to correction, digital photography speeds up turnaround and delivery times considerably faster.

Digital photography like any other form of photography has risks. There has always been a risk of liability, i.e., negatives are lost or ruined by the lab through handling either by accident or negligence, a setting may have been off a little for exposure. These risks are still present. To ensure that a wedding is never ruined, we shoot with several cameras over several forms of media. To this date, we have never had to apologize to a bride that there were no wedding portraits. The nice thing about digital is that only a copy is sent to the lab, instead of the entire file.
